Vonnie's Mum, Peg, gave Her this little plaque years ago and I always thought the pretty flowers and such were a bit of a mismatch for the words, although maybe it was a subtle joke that I've only understood later. In any case, it's pretty easy to translate.   This is not a girl to mess with once She's made up Her mind!   While I can laugh at the references to "savage will" and "practical intelligence", I have to agree.   Her determination, if nothing else, is why I'll always consider Her my better half.
