Mitchell Shire is a great place. It's peaceful 'cos it's out in the sticks, but still pretty close to Melbourne. Yay! Shopping!!!
There are lots of interesting places around and about to visit, and some lovely scenery. I hope David will soon be adding some of MY photos of the area. In the meantime have a look through these galleries and you might start to see what I mean.
As the Boss says, Mitchell really is a nice place to live. The drought at the moment (February 2007) is making it tough for everyone, and we don't look our best, but that will pass. Broadford was Vonnie's pick for a place to live, and I've never had any reason to disagree with Her choice. (Although Winter can stretch the friendship a little!)
I will certainly be adding some of Vonnie's own photos as soon as I can.
