Welcome to the Blunderosa!   It's a beautiful place to hide away, especially when the weather's been reasonable.   These are various pictures of the Estate in all its glory.

Enjoy this glimpse of Nirvana, and try to contain your envy.   Tours available.

This is the view from the back verandah, looking roughly North East, through the back gate, across the lane and towards the railway line.   This is in late Winter, after a little bit of rain, which explains the patchy Green look.   We like trees, in case you hadn't guessed.

A beautiful Azalea in the driveway garden in early Spring.

Another Azalea.   No twicks!   It really is that colour.   Isn't it fabulous?

Some of the neighbours checking out the "natural" look of the back lawn.

If that's a subtle hint that the lawn needs mowing, I'm not taking it.   It's SUPPOSED to look that way.

A young Rosella in Spring.   Herds of these guys live here all year, trying to see if they can eat as much as the cats.   David calls this magnificent construction the Hagia Rosella.    The steel mesh is to keep the greedy Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos from eating all the seed and the lids have to be pinned shut to keep them out as well - tribute to their persistence and intelligence.

This is a Sasanqua Azalea that I got David when we were at Mount Macedon once.   Can't say what the need was to sneak up on it at night to take its picture, but what do I know?.
